The Disciplines of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering on the Howard College Campus strive to achieve excellence in all of its various activities. With Professor S H Mneney as Discipline Leader, it has an academic staff establishment of 24 and a non-academic support staff establishment of 16. In 2013 there are 723 registered undergraduate students in the Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering Programmes, 32 postgraduate students registered for the MScEng and 22 registered for PhD degrees. In addition, the staff provide service courses for Mechanical and Chemical Engineering students.

Graduation took place in April with 18 Computer Engineering students, 33 Electronic Engineering students and 32 Electrical Engineering students graduating with BScEng degrees.  In addition19 students graduated with MScEng degrees and five with Phds. 

The Disciplines of Electrical, Electronic and Computer engineering are in a state of continuous and rapid growth. Recognizing the challenge of teaching in such an environment, the central philosophy of the cluster is to ensure that the undergraduates gain an enduring capacity for continuous and effective self-education throughout life.
